Accept Visa, Mastercard and ArCa cards online

Card payments in Armenia run over the ARCA network, and the bank you sign an internet acquiring contract with issues the credentials for it. Paynet takes those credentials and gives you a hosted checkout page, 3-D Secure handling, refunds, fiscal receipts and one place to watch every transaction. Card numbers are entered on the licensed processor page and never reach your server, so the most sensitive part of the flow stays off your side entirely.

How it works

  1. 01

The buyer reaches the Paynet checkout and enters their card on the secure payment page.

  2. 02

The card goes to the ARCA gateway of your acquiring bank, and the buyer confirms with 3-D Secure at their own bank when it is asked for.

  3. 03

The result comes back to Paynet, the buyer returns to your success or failure page, and the order is updated.

  4. 04

Later you can refund the payment in full or in part from the dashboard or the API, and a fiscal receipt is issued when e-HDM is connected.

What you need

  • An internet acquiring contract with ARCA or with a bank on the ARCA network, such as Evocabank, Inecobank, Ameriabank, Converse Bank, AraratBank or AmioBank.
  • The API username and password the bank issues for the gateway. Ameriabank also gives you a Client ID.
  • A free Paynet account with a verified domain, and business verification before you switch to live payments.

Paynet charges a flat amount per successful live payment and a small amount per standalone fiscal receipt, with no monthly fee and no percentage cut; your bank or wallet provider bills its own acquiring fee separately. 20 ֏

Questions

Visa, Mastercard and ArCa cards, as far as your acquiring bank supports them. The bank decides the card schemes and the acquiring fee; Paynet charges its own flat amount per successful payment and takes no percentage.
No. The buyer types the card on the payment page of the licensed processor, and your site only ever sees the payment status. Your gateway credentials are stored encrypted in Paynet, and the card itself is never stored at all.
Yes. Install the Sandbox provider or use a test API key, and the card number you type decides the outcome: approved, declined by issuer, insufficient funds, 3-D Secure failed, processor timeout and more. No bank is contacted, no money moves and nothing is counted, so you can prove the whole flow before your first real sale.
Some banks answer only whitelisted addresses. Pick your bank in the Paynet dashboard and the address to send them is shown right there. You are the one who asks, because the acquiring contract is yours, and payments start working as soon as the bank confirms.
