Accept Armenian payments in OpenCart
There is a Paynet extension for every OpenCart generation still in use: 2.3.x, 3.0.x and 4.0.x. Each one is an OCMOD archive you upload in the admin, and each connects to your Paynet account in one click, with no configuration file to edit. Every payment method you turn on gets its own choice at the checkout, so a buyer sees a card, Idram, Telcell or QR by name instead of one generic button.
How it works
-
Download the extension for your OpenCart version from https://paynet.am/en/plugins or from the OpenCart marketplace.
-
Upload the .ocmod.zip in the admin under Extensions, Installer. On OpenCart 2 it is Extension Installer, then Extensions, Modifications, Refresh.
-
Under Extensions, Payments, find Paynet, press Install and then Edit.
-
Click Connect and approve the popup. The store is linked to your Paynet account and the domain is verified in the same step.
-
Set the status to Enabled, save, and run a test order through the Sandbox provider before going live.
What you need
- OpenCart 2.3.x or 3.0.x on PHP 7.0 or newer, or OpenCart 4.0.x on PHP 8.0 or newer.
- Administrator access to the store and a catalogue priced in Armenian dram.
- Your own provider credentials: a bank on the ARCA network, Idram, Telcell or ArcaQR.
Paynet charges a flat amount per successful live payment and a small amount per standalone fiscal receipt, with no monthly fee and no percentage cut; your bank or wallet provider bills its own acquiring fee separately. 20 ֏
