Accept Armenian payments in WooCommerce

The Paynet plugin adds Armenian payment methods to a WordPress store, in the classic checkout and in WooCommerce Blocks alike, and marks the order paid on its own. It is free, published on WordPress.org, compatible with High Performance Order Storage, and localized in English, Armenian and Russian. Nothing has to be coded and no API key has to be copied: linking the store is a single click.

How it works

  1. 01

Install the plugin from WordPress.org, or upload the ZIP under Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin, then activate it.

  2. 02

Open WooCommerce, Settings, Payments, Paynet and click Connect. If you have no Paynet account yet one is created in the popup; if you do, the store links to it.

  3. 03

Approve the store domain in the popup. It is verified through the connection itself, so there is no DNS record to add and no file to upload.

  4. 04

Enable the payment methods you want at the checkout. Each method you turn on for the domain appears to the buyer as its own named option.

  5. 05

Place a test order against the Sandbox provider, check the order status and the receipt, then take live payments once your business is verified.

What you need

  • WordPress 5.0 or newer with WooCommerce, on PHP 7.4 or newer.
  • A merchant account with at least one provider of your own: a bank on the ARCA network, Idram, Telcell or ArcaQR.
  • A store priced in Armenian dram.

Paynet charges a flat amount per successful live payment and a small amount per standalone fiscal receipt, with no monthly fee and no percentage cut; your bank or wallet provider bills its own acquiring fee separately. 20 ֏

Questions

Yes, and so is help installing it. If anything gets stuck, write to [email protected] and the team will walk through it with you.
No. Connect issues and stores the credentials for the store by itself. API keys exist for custom integrations, not for the plugins.
Yes. Classic checkout and WooCommerce Blocks are both supported, and the plugin works with High Performance Order Storage.
The order is not left to chance. The plugin treats a webhook as a nudge and reads the real status back from the Paynet API before marking anything paid, and failed deliveries are retried three times, so a lost message does not lose the sale.
