Telcell is a wallet many buyers in Armenia already keep topped up, and it reaches people who would rather not type a card number at all. In Paynet it is one more method to switch on for a website. You keep your own Telcell shop account, Telcell settles to you, and the payment appears in the same dashboard, the same exports and the same webhooks as everything else you take.

How it works

  1. 01

    The buyer reaches the Paynet checkout and chooses Telcell from the methods you offer on that website.

  2. 02

    They continue to Telcell and confirm the payment from their wallet.

  3. 03

    Telcell notifies Paynet of the outcome, and the buyer comes back to your success or failure page.

  4. 04

    Paynet writes the final status, fires your webhook, and issues a fiscal receipt when e-HDM is connected.

What you need

  • A Telcell merchant account of your own, with the Shop ID and Shop Key it comes with.
  • A free Paynet account, with your business verified before live payments.
  • A verified domain, or a payment link if you sell over chat and social media instead of a site.

Paynet charges a flat amount per successful live payment and a small amount per standalone fiscal receipt, with no monthly fee and no percentage cut; your bank or wallet provider bills its own acquiring fee separately. 20 ֏

You do, under your own Telcell contract. Paynet routes the payment request and reads the result; it does not hold funds and does not stand between you and your provider at settlement.
No. Telcell has no refund API, so refunds are made on the Telcell side and the Paynet API answers refund_not_supported for those payments. Cards and ArcaQR can be refunded in full or in part from Paynet.
A payment stays open for 20 minutes and is then marked expired, with a webhook to tell you. Never treat the buyer landing back on your page as proof of payment: read the payment back from the API, which is what the plugins do for you.
Yes. Once Telcell is turned on for a domain it appears as its own named option at the checkout of the WooCommerce, OpenCart, PrestaShop and Ecwid integrations, alongside the cards and wallets you also enabled.
