Accept Armenian payments in PrestaShop

One module covers PrestaShop 1.7 and 8.x and every Armenian payment method Paynet supports. You download the zip from paynet.am, upload it in the Module Manager and press Connect: the store, its domain and your Paynet account are linked in a single approval, with no keys pasted anywhere and no template files touched. After that the methods a buyer sees are decided in your Paynet dashboard, so adding a bank or a wallet later needs no change in PrestaShop at all.

How it works

  1. 01

Download the module zip from https://paynet.am/en/plugins.

  2. 02

In the PrestaShop admin open Modules, Module Manager, and click Upload a module.

  3. 03

Find Paynet Payment in the list and click Configure.

  4. 04

Click Connect, approve the popup, then enable the module and save. Armenian payment methods now appear at the checkout.

  5. 05

Place a test order against the Sandbox provider, then switch to live once your business is verified.

What you need

  • PrestaShop 1.7 to 8.x on PHP 7.2 or newer.
  • A shop selling in Armenian dram.
  • Your own provider credentials: a bank on the ARCA network, Idram, Telcell or ArcaQR.

Paynet charges a flat amount per successful live payment and a small amount per standalone fiscal receipt, with no monthly fee and no percentage cut; your bank or wallet provider bills its own acquiring fee separately. 20 ֏

Questions

From the Paynet plugins page. It is distributed by Paynet directly rather than through a marketplace, it is free, and updates are downloaded the same way. If you would rather not do the upload yourself, [email protected] will help with the installation at no charge.
Yes. The buyer goes to the Paynet payment page or straight to the provider and returns to your confirmation page, so card details never pass through your shop and PCI scope stays off your server.
Card and QR payments can be refunded in full or in part from the Paynet dashboard or the API. Idram and Telcell have no refund API, so those are refunded on the provider side.
The module reads the payment back from the Paynet API instead of trusting the buyer being redirected back, and the webhook is only a signal that it is worth reading. A refreshed page or a closed tab cannot mark an unpaid order paid.
